Lighthouse maritime consultancy is established by Gerrit Grijpstra, an ambitious seaman, that by hard work and studies, grown from Cook/AB on beam trawlers in the fishing industry, to superintendent in offshore. Specialized in building offshore windmills and the laying and trenching of infield and export cables.
By his interest in what’s going on in the offshore, Gerrit has become a nautical expert. With experience as Master/sr DPO on DSV`s, PSV`s and Jack up cranebarges, with more than 9000 hours experience on several DP systems like Kongsberg and Cegelec Alstom.
By the fact that Gerrit is born on an island in one of the most beautiful and vulnerable areas in the world, he became the man he is: a very responsible, modern seaman with respect for the environment he is working in.

Door zijn intresse in alles wat gaande is in de offshore is Gerrit een nautische duizendpoot, die naast ervaring als Kapitein op Diving Support Schepen, Platform Supply schepen en Jack up crane barges, ook in te zetten is als Senior Dynamic Position Officer met ruim 9000 uren ervaring op meerdere systemen zoals Kongsberg en Cegelec Alstom.
Door het feit dat Gerrit is geboren op een eiland in een van de mooiste en kwetsbare gebieden in de wereld is hij geworden wat hij is. Een zeer bekwaam zeeman die verantwoordelijk zijn werk doet en respect voor de natuur hoog in het vaandel heeft.
